After Guernica. A Sinfonietta by the Reina Sofía Music School, conducted by Baldur Brönnimann
Inside the framework of a collaboration between the National Centre for the Dissemination of Music (CNDM), the Museo Reina Sofía and the Albéniz Foundation, and with the patronage of the Cisneros Foundation and the support of the Museo Reina Sofía Foundation, the Museo presents the concert After Guernica, conducted by Swiss conductor Baldur Brönnimann and performed by the Reina Sofía Music School's Sinfonietta, made up of young musicians and with a focus on contemporary music. Furthermore, some of the works in the concert form a thought-provoking link to the exhibition Pity and Terror. Picasso's Path to Guernica.
