Michele Wallace

The daughter of Faith Ringgold, Michele Wallace was a young feminist campaigner and activist opposed to the Vietnam War and co-founded Women Students and Artists for Black Art (WSABL) to promote liberation campaigns for black art and culture within new left groups as much as within establishment institutions.
