The installation of Guernica at the Haus der Kunst

Visitors at the Picasso exhibition in October 1955 contemplate the famous painting "The Guernica". It shows the horrors experienced by the inhabitants of the small Spanish town of Guernika in northern Spain after the devastating attack by the unit of German pilots, the "Condor Legion", in 1937.
